These include funding for medical treatment needed for their injuries as well as buying medical devices or equipment like wheelchairs and prosthetic. These events are a way also for them to see and reunite with their former compatriots to be updated about each other.
So it is important for people to reach out a helping hand to those who had suffered the effects of wars specially the ones who have no one with them anymore.
